    SURABAYA – BROMO – KALIBARU - SUKAMADE -  IJEN - BALI (5day/4night)
    Combines East Java Volcanoe Package Tour.Visit Mt Bromo, Kalibaru, Sukamade and Kawah Ijen/Ijen Crater. Starts from Surabaya than finish Bali.

    Itinerary: (Private tours)

    Day 01. Pick up at  Surabaya - Cemoro Lawang
    Pick you up on your arrival at Surabaya airport or train station,direct transfer to Cemoro Lawang, stay overnight at Lava view lodge or similar. Free Program

    Day 02. Bromo Sunrise Tour - Kalibaru Plantation
    Bromo Tour start at  03:00 AM the Jeep is waiting in front of your hotel,meet our driver and guide then by Jeep drive to view point. The sunrises can be spectacular depending on weather conditions, after sunrise back to jeep parking area and you will be heading to mount Bromo around 30 min,The Jeep will park near Luhur Poten temple. A Hindu temple still actively used by the Tengger people living near mount Bromo, then walk 40 minutes one way to the top of mount bromo, the last part is a stairs, climb up 245 stair to reach the top of mount bromo, from the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater. Approximately 08.00 AM the 4WD will bring you back to hotel for have breakfast and shower. At 09.30 AM checking out and heading to Kalibaru about 5-6 hours drive, stay overnight at Margo Utomo Resort or similar. Free program

    Day 03. Plantation Tour - Sukamade Turtle Beach
    After having breakfast, around at 8:00 AM, you will have a chance to enjoy the eco trip of plantations in Kalibaru area. On this tour program, you will do short trekking through 09 hectares plantations with varieties of spices such as nutmeg, cloves, pepper, vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, and coconuts. Do not to forget for visiting the dairy farm. The trip can be arranged in the morning and takes about 1 hour until 1,5 hours. Afterward, around 10:00 AM, we will continue our trip to Sukomade turtle beach. It takes about 2 hours to reach Rajekwesi beach, after that continue to Sukamade, you will change cars in Rajekwesi beach, as once again you will need a 4WD. The route to the park is scenic. You will see some beaches and plantations and some rivers will have to be crossed as well. You will arrive late afternoon. Heading to Sukamade turtle beach is certainly off the beaten track and it requires some effort to reach the National Park and the beach, but it is very worthwhile indeed. on the way can stop at Green Bay (hidden beaches) from the main road, you walking to the beach approx 35 minutes down the hill a little into the forest and along the edge of the rocky beach, finally you will find a white sandy beach and quiet (hidden beaches). stay overnight at sukamade Guest House (basic accommodation and electricity till 21:00). The turtles come ashore during the evening starting from 7 PM. A ranger (in group) will guide you to the beach and together you will wait for the turtles. Seeing a turtle coming ashore is a special moment. Watching these impressive creatures emerge from the surf and struggle-up the beach to lay their eggs on a moonlit night is an unforgettable experience. After the turtle found its spot on the beach, the turtle will dig a hole for her eggs. Some rangers will take the eggs and bring it to the hatchery as part of the conservation. Free program

    Note:

    Turtles lay eggs is a natural process, although the turtles come ashore almost every night, it isn't a guarantee that you will meet the turtles.

    Day 04. Sukamade - Banyuwangi 
    At 06:00 AM walking to beach, this morning it will be a special moment when you will release baby turtles from the hatchery at the beach, after that back to guesthouse to have breakfast and 3 hours drive to Banyuwangi, stay at Ketapang Indah Hotel or similar. Free program

    Day 05. Ijen Tour - Ubud Bali
    You will depart at 12:00 AM our guide and driver will pick you up and drive around 1 hour to paltuding, the entrance to mount ijen. You will climb with our guide around 1 to 1.5 hours will be needed to reach the ijen peak, after that 30 minute down to the crater, you will through a rocky path, witness the blue fire phenomenon and you will meet sulphur miners,they start working during the night, they chop loose solidified sulphur at the end of ceramic pipes that are placed in the crater, they carry heavy loads out of the crater. At 05:00 AM climbed back to the top of ijen, enjoy scenery. At 06:0 AM back to Paltuding area, then 1 hour drive back to hotel for have a breakfast and shower. At 10:00 AM checkout then you will drive to ketapang ferry port then take a ferry around 1.5 hours to reach Gilimanuk ferry port in West tip of Bali island, then by car transfer out to your hotel in Ubud, arrive Ubud around 04.00 PM or 05.00 PM.     **There is no guarantee that you will go down the crater/blue fire on the day of your trip, nature is unpredictable and if due to massive sulphur  clouds it is too dangerous on that day to go down, you have to respect it for your own safety.

    Know Before You Go:

    5. Mount Bromo is a friendly destination for families with children, the hiking trail on Mount Bromo is relatively easy. The 4x4 driver will drop you off at the parking area in front of Luhur Poten Temple and then take a short hike to the rim of crater. It takes around 1.5 Km or 30 minutes hike from Luhur Poten Temple to the Bromo's rim of crater.
    6. Mount Bromo lies in an open area called Sea of Sand. This is the wide savanna covered with volcanic ashes that make it easy to explore without a guide. Unless you want to go to a spot where it is more private or less crowded to enjoy the landscape or capture the milky way, then a guide is necessary.
    7. Bromo national park regularly monitors the activity of Mount Bromo. If there is dangerous volcanic activity, the national park would be closed for safety reasons. So, if the national park is open then it is absolutely safe to visit.
    8. Mount Bromo and Cemoro Lawang can be pretty chilly before sunrise since they’re 2,329 meters (7,641 ft) above sea level,the elevation at the viewpoint is a whopping 2,770 meters (9,088 ft). Temperatures can drop below 3-7 Celsius (45 F) and that doesn’t even factor in wind chill. It can get incredibly windy on the mountain peaks, and dry season is cooler than rainy season. However, you’ll only be chilly before sunrise. After that it warms up pretty quick, and the sun at this elevation is plenty strong
    9. Ijen crater can be pretty chilly before sunrise since it’s well above sea level.Temperatures can drop below 7 Celsius (45 F), and it can get windy too since you’re on an exposed mountain. Still, it’s best to dress in layers, because when you’re hiking up the mountain you’ll warm up pretty quick and may even get hot
    10. Ijen crater: Distance: 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) return, Duration: 3-5 hrs return
    11. Mount Ijen is not a friendly destination for children under 7 years old and people who have problems with asthma, blood pressure, extremely sensitive eyes, and one who easily panics. The sulfur/gas sometimes really strong and suddenly blows unpredictable to the hiking trail. This is the reason you must wear a professional gas mask(we provide) to help you breathe. Exploring Mount Ijen with an experienced guide is a must.
    12. Mount Ijen, the volcanic activity near the crack of volcano is rising. If this activity occurs then authorities will close the trail going to the Blue Flame but travellers still have opportunity to enjoy the landscape from Ijen's rim of crater. Or if the volcanic activities turn the toxicity of gas into a level of danger, then the authorities will close the entire site for safety reasons. Visiting Mount Ijen/Blue flame means you need to be ready for nature’s unpredictability, that means we don't guarantee you will see the blue flame.
    13. There is no separate fee between climbing Mount Ijen and seeing the blue fire, ticket prices remain the same for all visitors without exception! that means there is no additional cost, that's according to management regulations in the Ijen crater area..
    14. The normal speed to hike to the top of Ijen's rim of crater is 1.5 hours and you need 40 minutes more to go down to see the Blue Flame phenomena closer. Travellers usually return to Paltuding around 06:00 am after the sun rises and the trip will be finished around 07:00 am arrive at Paltuding parking lot.
    15. Sleep in Sukamade there is only one homestay, that is also the most basic. Without a doubt this is a poor homestay! But that's what there is if you want to see the turtles, of course it is located only 300 meters from the beach where the turtles arrived. Put yourself in a worse position, so if you decide go, you might be surprised! don't let the inconvenience keep you from living a few hours with the turtles in Sukamade.
    16. Although the turtles come ashore almost every night, it isn't a guarantee that you will meet the turtles, because it's natural.
    17. From Rajekwesi to Sukamade you will through forests, rivers, villages and will be bumpy road and rocky around 17- 20 km
